Excludable Income: Do not include any income from the following sources:
|
- Personal SCSEP Earnings
- Social Security Disability Income
- AFDC, Child Support, Foster Care
- General Assistance
- Lump sum inheritances, insurance payments, gambling and littery winnings, tax refunds and money borrowed.
- First $2000 of certain per capita fund distribution to Indians
persuant to the Indian Claims Act

- Inkind support from others (eg room and board), gifts
- Military Disability Pensions
- Training grants, stipends (e.g. JTPA)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Workers Compensation
- Capital gains from sale of property, including stocks, bonds, a house, a car.
- Unemployment Income

*Note: We count your Gross Social Security. We then deduct, automatically, 25 % from the total. You need to provide a current year award letter from Social Security showing your gross award.
