- Homemaker Services (Independent Support Services after 10/01/08) - The State of Maine, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking proposals to continue the existing State of Maine Homemaker Program. This state funded program, administered by the Office of Elder Services, assists individuals with household and incidental personal care activities to improve or maintain adequate well being and self sufficiency in the least restrictive environment. Eligible to Bid: Public agencies, government agencies, private for profit corporations, and non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations.
