TYPICAL QUESTIONS FROM ELDERCARE LOCATOR CALLERS
- Our uncle just died. Now our aunt lives alone in the country, and we live over 200 miles away. We worry about how she will be able to maintain the house and take care of herself. Is there a service available that can look in on her and maybe do some household chores?
- My grandmother is complaining about the care in her nursing home. She lives on the east coast and I live in California. I think I should do something to check the situation but I don't know what to do. Can you suggest someone to contact?
- Mr. Smith, our neighbor, has no family. We invite him over for supper, occasionally, but I'm afraid he doesn't eat much when he is alone. Is there a meal delivery service available in our community?
- My dad seems depressed since he lost his driver's license. Is counseling available for older persons in the town where he lives? And, is there a way I can arrange transportation for him to get where he needs to go?
