"There is more in us than we know. If we can be made to see it, then perhaps, for the rest of our lives, we will be unwilling to settle for less." -Kurt Hahn

The Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Resource Directory for the Elderly is my first webpage creation. As a summer internship, I worked for the Maine State Bureau of Elder and Adult Services and learned the language of HTML and a little bit of JavaScript. David Perkins acted as my supervisor and teacher, although I did learn a great deal from the numerous tutorials that fill space on the Internet. If you have any questions or comments, email me at ejbaldwi@mtholyoke.edu

Here are a few of the sites that helped me create my page:

Webmonkey The webmonkey is cool, humorous, a little whacky, and they have answers to all your toughest questions, plus some entertaining and educational tutorials.

Firegirl  This is where I learned the basics-paragraphs, lists, underlining, etc. Start here and you will be on your way!

Click herefor a basic introducion to tags. Another place to start, get ideas, and then search the web for your own favorite tutorial!
