and education.

New England Institute of Addiction Studies
NEIAS has been in existence for almost 30 years. It is dedicated to the education of
professionals, volunteers, and the general public concerning alcohol and drug
prevention and treatment issues. The Institute is the primary organization through
which the State Alcohol and Drug Agencies develop and deliver regional educational
events.

AdCare is a private, non-profit organization with offices in Massachusetts and Maine. The
agency is dedicated to increasing awareness, knowledge, and skills in the prevention,
intervention, and treatment. of substance abuse and other public health issues. The
Institute accomplishes its mission by providing education, training, consultation,
and technical assistance to organizations and individuals on substance abuse related
public health issues.

Join Together Online is a national resource center working for communities to reduce
substance abuse. This site provides information for understanding and identifying
substance abuse, daily news articles, tools/tips for positive change, and resources
for support and treatment.
