Young Adult Drug and Alcohol Use Survey (YADAUS)

Hornby Zeller Associates, the evaluator for the SPF SIG grant, developed this survey to help determine the success of substance abuse prevention initiatives.

The survey is geared toward young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 and asks about consumption of substances, including alcohol and prescription drugs. It also asks about perceptions of enforcement and how easy it is to obtain substances. No information that could identify a person (such as name, age or race) will ever be released. People who complete the survey will have the chance to enter into a raffle drawing to win one of 16 gas cards for $25. The contact information for the raffle drawing will not be linked to the survey responses in any way.

The survey is being collected from August 25 th through November 21 st , 2008 . Raffle entries received online after November 21st will not be eligible for the drawing.

If you have additional questions, please contact Sarah Goan or Kristen McAuley at (207) 773-9529.
