There are currently two Power Point presentation that can be used for staff training that are available through Mental Retardation Services. These can be requested through contacting Lisa.D.Sturtevant@maine.gov

1. "What’s in My Community?"

• An hour and a half of basic information about finding out what is in any community. Great for Direct Support Professionals. The slides can be modified and added to by your agency.

2. "Connecting the Person Centered Plan to Community."

• An hour of capacities approach to planning and connecting it to a local community. Great for Direct Support Professionals. The slides can be modified and added to be your agency.
