Core Session 1 and 2

The Department is announcing a presentation of Core 1, Transfer Station Operations and Core 2, Reporting Requirements & Report Preparation. This will be a combined one-day workshop for municipal transfer station operators, commercial operators, selectmen, town managers, and others interested. Core 1 will be offered in the morning from 9AM to noon, and Core 2 will be offered in the afternoon from 1PM until 4PM. Attendees may register for either or both courses. Those planning to attend the afternoon session only should plan to arrive at approximately 12:15PM.

We will use a PowerPoint slide presentation of operational issues at transfer stations around the State. The slides lead participants through a discussion of how to operate a transfer facility and provide an opportunity to learn from others? successes and mistakes. Revisions to the annual reporting form have generated many questions, so we will discuss the new form, the reason for the changes, and will answer any questions. Please note that Lunch and Refreshments will no longer be served, but classes are now offered free of charge. Attendees should bring their own lunch or refreshments. Registration for the morning session begins at 8:15 AM, and registration for the afternoon begins at 12:15 PM. Please return your registration before April 25, some locations have limited capacity.
