Remediation and Waste Management's Videos and DVDs

Get the Mercury Out Of Maine - The Maine DEP estimates that Maine cars and trucks contain about 1,500 pounds of mercury ! It's convenience light switches and ABS sensors. When the vehicles are crushed, most of the mercury is released to the air only to fall as rain or snow into Maine waters. Freshwater fish pick it up making them unsafe for people to eat. - Removal of these mercury switches and sensor is a state law starting January 1, 2003. Your role, as a dismantler, is to remove them before the vehicles are crushed and sore them safely until automakers take them back for recycling. You and your operation can make a difference!
