DEP's Quality Management System assures that the environmental data used to make decisions (license conditions, for example) are accurate and reliable, and that the Department is continuously improving the quality of all its programs and operations. Enterprise GIS - Methodologies, SOPs, Training & Design

The Department of Environmental Protect has a significant number of staff that benefit from the use of the MDEP Geographic Information System (GIS) that integrates spatial and attribute database access and querying capabilities.
