Mercury Pollution We Are the Solution A video, filmed entirely on location in Maine, features environmental and health experts; wildlife scientists; anglers; automotive, heating, marine and waste disposal technicians; and others from across the state who understand, and have a stake in, preventing mercury pollution in Maine.

The show is an engaging way to learn about:

Maine’s mercury problem, including contaminated fish and wildlife;
The dangers for people of eating mercury-contaminated fish caught in Maine waters;
The sources of and solutions to Maine’s mercury problem;
How to identify mercury-containing products in Maine homes, cars and workplaces;
How to safely dispose of mercury-containing products.
