Regulatory Requirements

Each facility in THWRP must:

Pay fees to the THWRP Program annually by October 1st, based on the number of Use or Release chemicals or pounds of Hazardous Waste shipped.

In addition, each facility meeting the reporting requirements must:

Submit a facility specific progress report every 2 years (even numbered years), which includes reduction goals and how the facility has made progress towards meeting their goals of reducing or eliminating either Toxic Use or Release chemicals, or manifested Hazardous Waste.
By January 1, 2000 maintain a facility specific Pollution Prevention (P2) plan, which is developed with the help of the employees and is updated every 2 years (even-numbered years).
