Pollution Prevention (P2)
What is it?
Pollution Prevention is the use of processes, practices, or products that reduce or eliminate the generation of pollution and wastes or that protect natural resources through conservation and more efficient use. Rather than treat waste streams after they are generated, P2 focuses on reducing or eliminating pollution at the source.
