MEDEP Staff Support

MEDEP staff can access support for all aspects of GIS use in their work,including: Technical support for ArcGIS software

• Assistance in making maps and conducting analyses
• Assistance with data development and QA/QC
• Field collection of data and training of GPS use
• Assistance with planning for future projects including research and development
• Writing of custom code to automate repetitive GIS processes
• Free GIS training
• ArcGIS 9.0 library (current ArcGIS users only - Intranet only)
• ArcGIS 9.0 bug reports (current ArcGIS users only - Intranet only)

MEDEP Staff may contact GIS Unit staff directly.

Non-MEDEP Staff Support

MEDEP provides support for MEDEP GIS data to other agencies and to the public, but only in the context of supporting the data we provide. Contact Chris Halsted for help with MEDEP GIS data (phone# and email are here).

PDF Issues?

If you receive a PDF from us, and the fonts don't look right, try downloading the latest set of GIS fonts. Unzip the file, and install them all from the 'Fonts' icon in your control panel (admin rights needed). Also try downloading the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
