Comment deadline: March 20, 2015

Chapter 106 ?Low Sulfur Fuel Regulation? as amended June 27, 2014 incorporates statutory requirements for the use of low-sulfur distillate and residual fuels which were enacted as part of Maine?s effort to address federal visibility planning requirements at federal Class I areas such as Acadia National Park.

The Department will be submitting its current Low Sulfur Fuel Regulation found in Chapter 106 for incorporation into the State Implementation Plan, thereby satisfying its Clean Air Act planning requirements and further strengthening the enforcement of these provisions.
