Bingham Wind Project Public Information Meeting

The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will be holding a public meeting on Blue Sky West, LLC and Blue Sky West II, LLC?s pending application to construct a grid scale wind power generation facility. The public meeting will be held at the Moscow Elementary School, Route 201, Moscow, Maine on Monday, July 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Individual meetings with abutters and other interested persons may be available prior to the public meeting by appointment only from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to allow the Department to hear the public?s concerns regarding the proposed Bingham Wind project in relation to statutory criteria.
The Department requests that any questions asked by the public be provided in writing at the meeting to ensure that each question is specifically addressed by the Department prior to issuance of a licensing decision. If interested parties wish to provide additional written comments and questions at a later date, they may do so at their discretion.
