A public meeting will be convened at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in Council Chambers at Ellsworth City Hall to receive comments on a draft plan for disbursement of $500,000 in public funding for protection and improvement of local water resources. The funding is compensation for groundwater pollution arising from the discharge of contaminants in the 1970?s from a waste oil handling facility off Route 1A in Ellsworth.
