- Request for Proposals; FY 2010 Grants for
Nonpoint Source Pollution Control Projects. Maine DEP is seeking proposals to conduct Nonpoint Source Water Pollution Control Projects to restore or protect lakes, streams, or coastal waters that are impaired or considered threatened. A portion of funds are reserved for projects crafted to help restore impaired waters. The Request For Proposals offers grants for 2 types of projects: NPS Watershed Implementation Project & NPS Watershed Survey. Grants will be funded with monies to be provided to DEP by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency under the Federal Clean Water Act, Sections 319(h) and 604(b).
