Introduction
Pursuant to applicable laws and rules of the State's Waste Discharge Program, the Department's Bureau of Land and Water Quality, Division of Water Quality Management has developed a general permit for the application (discharge) of aquatic pesticides for the control of mosquito-borne diseases. This general permit covers discharges of authorized aquatic pesticides by a licensed applicator to Class es AA, A, B, C, SA, SB , SC and waters having a drainage area of less than 10 square miles, that constitute breeding habitat for mosquito species known to be potential disease vectors and that meet the other provisions identified in the General Permit .
