Salmon Atlas (1999)

This Atlas was created by the Maine Dept. of Environmental Protection (DEP), Bureau of Land & Water Quality for use with the Maine Atlantic Salmon program. These maps show the 7 primary Salmon watershed and their respective base map data. Future editions of these maps will provide spawning and rearing habitats for salmon.

These maps are available for viewing and downloading on the Maine DEP website, and are also available on CD or in paper hardcopy. A CD set of maps is $10.00 and paper copies are $3.50 each. Maps are in .pdf format and can be interactively viewed and easily printed to any color printer through Adobe Acrobat.

Data for the Salmon Atlas was derived from 1998 24K and 100K base data from the Maine Office of GIS. 24K base data was used when available.
