Pump-out Program

DEP has been awarded a grant to manage the pump-out grant program in Maine. The Clean Vessel Act was re-authorized by Congress this past year with additional funds to help pay for the installation and maintenance of holding tank pump-out stations in coastal areas. Administered by USF&W, this program was formerly run locally by SPO. Contact: Pam Parker. 207-287-7905.
