On March 24, Sarah Winne of Connors Emerson School in Bar Harbor wrote: "Crocuses are blooming. Lots of ice melting, but not on the lakes and ponds."

On March 31, Vaughn Martin of Easton Elementary in Easton wrote: "Still getting snow storms, but sunny most days."

On March 31, Sarah Winne of Connors Emerson School in Bar Harbor wrote: "Many spots in our yards are bare of snow, and if there are any, they are usually 1 inch or so in depth."

On April 6, Vaughn Martin of Easton Elementary in Easton wrote: "Lots of rain that's caused the snow to melt. Lots of birds."
