This plant grows in clumps in fields and lawns. The flowers are on slender stems and are about 3 to 6 inches tall. |
Leaves: |
Basal or oppositely arranged, tiny and slender. |
Flowers: |
Small, pale blue, with 4 petals and a yellow center. |
Fruit: |
A tiny brown capsule that dries up and splits open. |
