Subject: air-inventory Changes to Maine's FTP site
Good Morning
On Monday, June 9, 2008, the Maine Office of Information Technology shut down the state's FTP site to all anonymous users. This disruption prevents any user without a password, inside or outside state government, from accessing and downloading files which have been stored on the FTP site .
You are receiving this e-mail because you have been part of one or more projects (MATI, Conformity or Emissions Inventory) that has used the anonymous FTP site in the past ( ftp://state.me.us/dep/pub/ ) To accommodate our user community, the following changes have been made:
(1) All files contained on the /dep/pub/, including MATI, 2006 Inventory and 2005 NEI files have been moved to a new, more secure home, at http://www.maine.gov/dep/ftp/ . The structure is identical and the site does not require a password for login.
(2) 2006 Inventory Data Files and the Satellite i-STEPS program file have also been moved to a new website, http://www.maine.gov/dep/air/emissions/2007.htm .
We will be moving additional files from the FTP site to our web pages over the next few months.
