PARTNERS & FRIENDS - Other organizations and programs you really should know about.

Maine Energy Education Program is a special partner to the Maine DEP Air Bureau. We work closely with the Director, Peter Zack on the Maine Green Schools project and delivering fall workshops on Energy and Transportation related topics. Peter and our Environmental Education Leader Volunteer also offer a great number of classroom presentations that can come to your school and engage your students in exciting hands-on, minds-on learning activities to kick off a unit on energy and/or the future of transportation. Please check out this web site to find out all the great resources we have to offer.

The MOVE Program is another special partner with the Maine DEP. They are non-profit education programs that use transportation related themes to address multiple curriculum areas. Teacher Education Opportunities include their Summer Institute for Educators and Teacher Classes. http://www.themoveprogram.org/
