DEP Quality Management System

Related Links: Strategic Plan; Performance Partnership Agreement; MDEP Partners

DEP's Quality Management System assures that the environmental data used to make decisions (license conditions, for example) are accurate and reliable, and that the Department is continuously improving the quality of all its programs and operations. The standard against which quality is compared is DEP's Quality Management Plan (PDF), which is approved by the EPA.

Below are examples of Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs) for several Maine DEP programs. For additional information including appendices, tables and other documentation associated with the QAPPs please contact Malcolm Burson at 207-287-7755.
