A Message from the Commissioner

Welcome to the Maine Department of Administrative and Financial Services' (DAFS) Web site. DAFS provides a number of central services to state agencies. Among our many responsibilities, we ensure appropriate financial and human resource management systems are in place, manage the budget process, and oversee all aspects of State's procurement process and property management. The Department also interacts with Maine citizens in the collection of revenues, the sale of lottery tickets and the receipt of employment applications.

DAFS is committed to providing high quality services and leadership to ensure the public's confidence in the State's financial activities. We have a talented and dedicated work force assisting other state agencies and providing the public with timely services.
