Maine State Lottery

The Bureau is proud of its commitment in providing the citizens of Maine with fun and exciting entertainment through the complete distribution and sales of instant lottery tickets, Powerball, Tri-State Pick 3 and Pick 4, Tri-State Heads or Tails and Tri-State Megabucks.

This year 130 million dollars will be returned to lottery players in prize money. $90 million from instant lottery tickets and $40 million from online games.

The Maine Lottery was established in 1974 by Maine voters in a statewide referendum and in 2004 Maine joined twenty eight other jurisdictions to offer the increasingly popular Powerball game.
