Maine Inland Navigational Aids

The Maine Dept. of Agriculture, Conservation, & Forestry, Boating Facilities Division's Navigational Aid data is available, geographically referenced, via Google Earth. In response to comments received from our customers, the Boating Facilities Division has joined with our friends at the Maine Department of Environmental Protection to develop a user-friendly version of our Navigational Aids on Google Earth. Here, you can view all State installed and/or maintained navigational buoys or you can select an indiviual lake to view just that lakes' information. You can also download a text file of buoy coordinates to use in your GIS/GPS system. In order to view this information you must have Google Earth already installed on your PC. (The full version includes various search options)
