Surficial Geology 1:62,500-scale Maps Digital Data

This dataset contains surficial geology map units for Maine at 1:62,500 scale. These are reconnaissance-level surficial maps for areas of the state that have not been mapped at the more detailed 1:24,000 scale. In addition to a description of surficial materials, the maps include the location of deltas, sites of special interest, radiocarbon-dated sites, and sources of geologic information.
