Figure 22. Wildly contorted quartzite and schist layers in the Mosquito Harbor Formation of the Benner Hill sequence at Marshall Point, Port Clyde. The complicated layering and folding in the thin, light-colored quartzite layers is the result of several events. Some folds may be soft-sediment slumps.
