Join Dave Fuller, Agriculture and Non-Timber Forest Products Professional with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, for a balsam fir tipping field program on how to tip sustainably, followed by an indoor wreath making workshop. Dave will discuss how to identify balsam fir, proper tipping methods, and how to make a balsam fir wreath. Bring hand shears and light gloves and come dressed for an outdoor winter hike in the woods.
