The Chronicle of Philanthropy
is a newspaper with current information about grants. If you subscribe,
the Web site offers the complete contents of their newest issue, archives of the
last couple of years, and more than four years' worth of grant listings -- all
fully searchable. I think there is some information you can find even if
you aren't a subscriber, but understandably they want you to subscribe.

CD Publications: Children & Youth Funding Report
CD Publications publishes several
newsletters. The one that will be most helpful to Community for Children
partners is Children & Youth Funding Report. It provide
interesting and topical articles relating to funding and youth issues. The
Report does a lot of work for you by providing detailed information about
federal, foundation, and private grant opportunities for a wide range of
child/youth needs. In addition, there's "advice from public and
private officials on how to prepare winning proposals and case studies of
successful fundraising activities..."

NYDIC--National Youth Development Information Center
NYDIC, The National Youth Development
Information Center, is a project of the The
National Assembly through its affinity group, the National Collaboration for
Youth (click here for links to NCY
member sites). NYDIC provides practice-related information about youth
development to national and local youth-serving organizations at low cost or no
cost. In addition to information about funding opportunities, NYDIC's
site has a lot of other useful youth-related information.
