One ME - Stand United for Prevention
The State
of Maine Office of Substance Abuse (OSA) seeks proposals for new or expanded
primary prevention programs working to reduce alcohol and tobacco use among
youth age 12-17 years, using science based prevention.

Newman's Own Funding for Children and Youth
"Paul Newman donates all profits, after taxes, from the sale of his products for educational and charitable purposes. Grants are awarded annually to a wide range of organizations. Eligible categories include: children and youth, health, education, elderly, environment, the arts, handicapped, literacy, substance abuse education, programs for the needy including housing and food. Individual donations and scholarships are not eligible. Proposals must be received by September 1 but earlier submissions are encouraged. Grants are awarded by December 31."

The Baseball Tomorrow Fund is the philanthropic arm of a joint initiative of Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association. The mission of the Baseball Tomorrow Fund is to promote and enhance the growth of baseball throughout the world by providing funding for programs, and fields and equipment purchases. The purpose of the grants is to encourage and maintain youth participation in the game.
