The 2009 Governor's Employee Recognition Program

State Seal
Employees who make a career in public service are valued by the Governor, their department, peers, and the citizens of the State of Maine. That is why each year the Governor honors those with longevity service of twenty-five, thirty, thirty-five, forty, forty-five, fifty and more years of total public service. These employees are presented with a Service Award pin and certificate of longevity.

In addition to Longevity Achievement, special recognition is given to an outstanding employee and manager from each department.

Each eligible employee will receive an invitation to these events.
