The 2009 Governor's Employee Recognition Program
Employees who make a career in public service are valued by the Governor,
their department, peers, and the citizens of the State of Maine. That is why
each year the Governor honors those with longevity service
of twenty-five, thirty, thirty-five, forty, forty-five, fifty and more years
of total public service. These employees
are presented with a Service Award pin and certificate of longevity.
In addition to Longevity Achievement, special recognition is given to an outstanding employee and manager from each department.
Each eligible employee will receive an invitation to these events.
Departments and agencies are encouraged to recognize an employee, manager, and special team at their own recognition ceremony.
Longevity Recognition Awards
Eligible employees will receive their Service Award pins and certificate of longevity.
