This one day Learning Experience examines some of the common legal issues and responsibilities faced by supervisors and their agencies arising from various workplace policies and laws in the area of equal employment opportunity. Participants will come away with an understanding of the critical doctrines of due process and just cause, the steps in the disciplinary process, and other important considerations of managing in a collective bargaining setting.
This Learning Experience is a collaboration between the Bureau of Employee Relations and the State Office of Training & Organizational Development.
