Communication Skills in the Workplace

This course examines some of the dynamics of communications that may lead to misunderstandings and mistrust in the workplace. Communication roles (often unstated), gender issues, and emotions will be explored, leading to greater insights into communication breakdowns. In this interactive course, participants will consider the strengths and pitfalls of their own communication styles. They will also practice skills and techniques to prevent and resolve communication difficulties at work and in other settings.
