Description:

A good facilitator enhances group productivity by bringing out the best in each individual. This two-day workshop will begin your preparation to facilitate by teaching you what the responsibilities of a facilitator are. You will also learn how to work with a team to ensure that agendas are established, purposes are defined, members are actively contributing and team actions are documented. Emphasis will be place on understanding and managing group dynamics, including methods of intervention that may be needed in order to help the team reach desired outcomes.

Facilitation is the art of getting people to work together effectively. By the end of the session participants will understand the basics of facilitation. Activities that a facilitator needs to manage in any group process will be explored -

o The flow of attention and intention
o The flow of energy and motivation
o The flow of information and communication
o The flow of operations and decisions

Audience: Anyone who leads or facilitates meetings or group projects.
