However, do you really know when and how to use one?

Thanks to the Fire Equipment Manufacturers’ Association, a new YouTube video is now available to show both workers and homeowners how to properly use a portable fire extinguisher. The two minute video teaches users the steps required to effectively extinguish a fire. It also includes a brief outline of the types of fires that can be controlled with an extinguisher and a checklist of other immediate actions to take in the event of a fire.
