The Planning, Design & Construction Division (PDCD) has posted the 2009 Professional Services Prequalification List.   This List consists of individuals and firms who provide professional, architectural and engineering services for public improvement projects who may be selected by single source procurement.  This procurement method, as with the standard Request for Qualifications (RFQ) method, is based on "professional competency and qualifications."

In the case of a project-specific RFQ, firms are screened, and interviews are held to select the most qualified firm.  Where the projected fees for all professional services on a given project do not exceed $25,000, the Owner agency will select either the RFQ method of procurement or single source selection from the Professional Services Prequalification List.

The Planning, Design & Construction Division web pages show the 151 individuals and firms on the List alphabetically and also by each of 31 specific services.  The procedure for the use of the Professional Services Prequalification List is outlined on those pages.   Please contact PDCD if you have any comments or questions. Thank you.
