Escape to the scenic Bald Mountain Public Land where outdoor enthusiasts thrive in this four-season wonderland. Hike Bald Mountain's one mile trail to the summit and enjoy panoramic views of Rangeley, Cupsuptic and Mooselookmeguntic lakes and the Height of Land. These are popular hikes in the fall when Maine's countryside blushes with autumn color.

Boating and fishing on the lakes and rivers in the summer are popular activities for local anglers. Wildlife watching the more than 200 species can be enjoyed all year-round. Hunting for deer and ruffed grouse occurs each fall.
