Municipal Internal Control Observation (Discontinued)

Municipal Internal Control Observation Program (MICO)

The MICO program has been discontinued. However, the Maine Department of Audit will provide limited help to individual municipalities that request assistance as resources and circumstances allow.  Educational information addressing internal control and fraud risk factors may be provided upon request.
