Driving Instructions

Driving Directions from the State House:

Turn right onto State Street from the Legislators’ parking lot with the State House on your left.

Proceed to Hallowell about 1½ miles.

Turn right at the first street after the railroad overpass, Winthrop Street.

Proceed up the hill ½ a mile to the Hallowell State Office Complex on your right.

Turn right past Conservation on left, Marine Resources on right, drive past Labor on right, vacant building on left to 5 th building on your left on Beech Street, Department of Audit.

Driving Directions from the Cross State Office Building:

Proceed left on Sewall Street with the Cross State Office Building behind you. (In Hallowell, this is called Second Street)

Continue straight approximately 1½ miles to the first stop sign, the Hallowell Post Office will be on your right.

Turn right up Winthrop Street, for approximately ½ mile to the Hallowell State Office Complex on your right.

Turn right past Conservation on left, Marine Resources on right, drive past Labor on right, and vacant building on left to 5 th building on Beech Street, Department of Audit.
