A private non-profit organization supporting beginning farmers and sustainable small scale agriculture throughout New England.

New England Land-Link (NELL)
A comprehensive, regional farm transfer program sponsored by the New England Small Farm Institute

American Farmland Trust
A private, nonprofit organization founded in 1980 to protect our nation's farmland. AFT works to stop the loss of productive farmland and to promote farming practices that lead to a healthy environment.

Land Trust Alliance
Promotes voluntary land conservation and strengthens the land trust movement by providing leadership, information, skills and resources land trusts need to conserve land for the benefit of communitites and natural systems.  LTA/Northeast serves New york and the six New England states. 

Massachusetts APR Program
A voluntary program intended to offer a non-development alternatives to farmers and other land owners who are faced with a decision regarding future use and disposition of their farms.

Working Farm Landscapes: Resources for the Northeast
 A compilation of resources put together through the Harvard University Institute for Cultural Landscape Studies.

National Farm Transition Network, established in 1992 to promote programs that support the next generation of family farms.
