Becoming An Outdoor Partner Is Simple!  

  • When you purchase your license, join the Outdoor Partners Program, or purchase it at the IFW online store at
  • Outdoor Partners abide by a code of ethics which helps maintain public access to private land.
  • Outdoor Partners agree to assist a landowner during the year.

As a member of the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Outdoor Partners Program, I understand that responsible behavior and ethics are essential in keeping lands open for outdoor recreation. As an Outdoor Partner, I will:
